1988 Cape Dory 28 Hardtop

This 1988 Cape Dory 28 is a down-east style cruiser built on a semi-displacement hull designed for comfortable, easy riding. The fiberglass boat features a traditional lobster boat profile with a moderate beam, round bilges, a substantial rudder, and keel. Wide side decks provide good access around the boat, and the engine room is arranged for straightforward service and maintenance.

The cockpit is spacious and protected by an extended hardtop, with helm and companion pedestal seats that have opening hatches above them. A swim platform extends from the stern. Below, the layout includes a V-berth forward, an enclosed stand-up head, refrigeration, and a two-burner stove top. Shore power and a battery charger are installed.
