1988 Chris-Craft 381 Catalina

The 1988 Chris-Craft 381 Catalina is a 38-foot fiberglass cruiser powered by twin Crusader 7.4L inboard diesel engines producing 350 hp each, with approximately 1,800 engine hours. The boat carries 410 gallons of fuel, 65 gallons of water, and 75 gallons of holding capacity. A 6.5 kW Onan generator provides onboard power. Navigation and control systems include Raymarine GPS and VHF, a Standard Horizon depth gauge, windlass controls, trim tab controls, and individual throttle and shift levers.

The layout comprises two cabins and two heads. The forward stateroom features a centerline V-berth with an en-suite head, electric toilet, and separate shower. The master stateroom offers a walk-around king bed, generous storage, hanging locker, en-suite head with electric toilet, and separate shower and tub. The salon includes a pullout couch, television, microwave, three-quarter fridge and freezer, and sink.

An extended custom swim platform with stainless steel stairs opens to the cockpit, which is fitted with a full canvas enclosure and refrigerator. The salon includes a built-in bar and a granite countertop. Exterior equipment encompasses a large bow bench seat, windlass, bow and stern washdown systems, and multiple windshield wipers.

Recent maintenance and upgrades span multiple years: the aft bilge was replaced in 2025, the canvas enclosure was renewed in 2023, cockpit flooring was replaced in 2023, a new king mattress was installed, anodes and cutlass bearings were serviced, and a full engine tune-up was completed. Additional work includes a rebuilt starboard muffler, new hot water heater element, new batteries, new anchor with 200 feet of chain, new windlass, raw water washdown pumps, and fresh windows resealed in the cockpit.
