A Doug Peterson-designed aluminium ocean cruiser built by the legendary Dutch Jongert shipyard. This 66-foot performance yacht was substantially refitted in 2006 and has received numerous upgrades through recent seasons, combining classic pedigree with contemporary systems and comfort.
The boat is configured for efficient short-handed sailing or full crew operations. A central deckhouse encloses the main helm station, with an additional sailing helm positioned aft. The Rondal cutter rig and hydraulic furling systems are managed through a comprehensive Lewmar winch package. A hydraulic bowthruster assists manoeuvring, while the variable-pitch Hundested propeller on the Perkins Sabre diesel engine provides flexible power delivery. The Scheel keel draws 2.60 metres, enabling access to shallow anchorages. Topside, a hydraulic bathing platform and passarelle fold out from the stern, and a rigid tender is stowed forward.
Below, the accommodation spans four cabins and four heads. The aft owner's suite features twin beds and a large ensuite with separate shower. Two mirrored guest cabins amidst the yacht forward each have ensuite facilities with shower cubicles. A crew cabin with ensuite occupies the forepeak. Teak joinery throughout is paired with leather upholstery and Alcantara headlinings.
Systems are comprehensive: Garmin chart plotters, radar, sailing instruments and autopilot; Onan 25kw generator; Victron battery chargers and inverter; reverse-osmosis watermaker; reverse-cycle air-conditioning; Webasto diesel heating; electric galley with induction cooking; and washer/dryer.
