1988 Moody 376

This 1988 Moody 376 is a British-designed center-cockpit cruiser built from fiberglass, measuring 37 feet with a 12.5-foot beam. The design is known for exceptional interior volume and solid construction suited to extended cruising. The boat features shallow draft at 4 feet 6 inches, a large aft cabin with ensuite, and a protected cockpit layout. In-mast furling on the main and roller furling on the genoa mean all lines lead to the cockpit, making her straightforward to singlehand. The deck-stepped mast allows for easy truck transport.

Power comes from a 50 horsepower Perkins 4108 diesel engine. The rear main seal was recently replaced with an updated teflon-coated synthetic seal, and the engine is fitted with updated Racor filters. The 120-volt shorepower system has been upgraded with additional outlets, and the 12-volt electrical system includes solar charging capability for off-grid operation.

The interior upholstery is original and in excellent condition with no tears. A 12-volt television with Firestick provides entertainment with marina wifi or hotspot connectivity. Large lazarette storage with ladder access accommodates spare parts and fluids. Electronics installed in 2021 include a Garmin 992 chart plotter, new navigation pod, Garmin GMR radar, and Garmin Sail Pack 52 with 4-inch display.

Equipment includes a cockpit dodger with three-quarter enclosure, cockpit cushions, three anchors with 300 feet of rode, custom canvas winter cover, stainless steel dinghy davits, rail-mounted Magma marine gas grill, fold-down cockpit table, lifesling overboard rescue system, and Xantrex 1000-watt power inverter.
