1988 Nonsuch 30 Ultra

The Nonsuch 30 Ultra is a 30-foot fiberglass sailing yacht built in 1988, featuring a beam of nearly 12 feet and powered by a 35-horsepower Universal diesel engine. Known for its seaworthy design, this boat combines a full sailing rig with practical cruising accommodations and modern electronics.

The interior offers a single cabin with a pullman double berth, a dinette that converts to additional sleeping space, and a full galley with a two-burner Force10 stove, oven, and top-loading refrigerator. A dedicated navigation station houses VHF radios and electrical panels, while the head includes a stand-up shower with seat and manual head. Central air and heating, along with 110-volt outlets throughout, support comfortable extended cruising. Ample storage is built into cabinetry, settees, and berth frames.

Recent improvements include refinished topsides with sanding, compounding, and waxing completed in March 2026, interior detailing in March 2026, and an updated helm with self-tailing stainless steel winches installed in 2020 and 2021. Raymarine electronics added in 2022 comprise a multifunction display showing wind, depth, and speed, plus a below-deck autopilot. The boat is equipped with a Fortress anchor system, wishbone boom, 30-amp shore power, bimini, and transom swim ladder.
