The 1988 Symbol Regency 390 is a 39-foot fiberglass trawler built with twin Crusader 454 inboards producing approximately 350 horsepower each. Originally stored indoors and unused until 2007, the boat remained lightly used with roughly 600 engine hours logged. It features a wide 14'8" beam and draws 3'6", with a dry weight of 22,500 pounds.
The interior includes two private staterooms—an aft cabin with queen walkaround berth and a forward guest cabin—each with its own head. The main salon offers a galley equipped with Magic Chef gas oven, microwave, and refrigerator, alongside a dinette area and separate seating. The boat sleeps four to six. Recent interior updates in 2020 added new dinette cushions, mattresses, window coverings, and carpeting. The Mermaid air conditioning and heating system was serviced in 2022, and a new hot water heater and water pump were installed.
Outside, the teak cockpit includes an electric windlass with anchor and chain, new swim platform from 2019, and a bimini top with full enclosure. New cockpit cushions were fitted in 2020, and all windows were resealed in 2019. Navigation and electronics include a Raymarine eSeries GPS with depth sounder, digital radar added in 2018, and two VHF radios. Fuel capacity is 285 gallons, with fresh water at 180 gallons and holding tank at 30 gallons.
Since 2007, the boat has been professionally maintained with full service records available. Recent mechanical work includes new batteries and boxes installed in 2022, new head fixtures, and completion of all scheduled maintenance by certified marine technicians. A custom winter cradle was built in 2021, and shore power hookups accommodate both 30A and 50A connections.
