This 1988 Viking 48 Convertible is a proven Great Lakes sportfish built on a solid fiberglass hull. Twin Detroit Diesel 8V92 engines producing 1,470 horsepower deliver a cruising speed of 27 knots and a top speed of 32 knots. The boat is known for its expansive 144-square-foot fishing cockpit—among the largest found in any flybridge boat this size—along with a low-deadrise modified-V hull, wide beam, and shallow keel designed for stability and shallow-water operation.

The interior layout accommodates multiple stateroom configurations with a galley, dinette options, and two heads with electric flush toilets, vanities, sinks, and showers. The massive cockpit includes two in-deck fish boxes, a tackle center, and a transom door.
