1988 Wellcraft Gransport

This 1988 Wellcraft Gransport is a 34-foot cruiser powered by twin fuel-injected Mercruiser 454s producing 680 horsepower combined. The boat reaches 30 knots at full throttle and cruises comfortably at 20 knots. Built on a fiberglass hull with a 12-foot-6-inch beam, it spans 38 feet overall and includes a tandem-axle trailer.

The main cabin offers reverse-cycle heating and air conditioning with digital controls. A galley features a microwave, range, and dual-voltage stainless steel refrigerator. Entertainment includes a television with DVD player and HDMI connectivity, plus an extensive stereo system with a 5000-watt amplifier, six 12-inch subwoofers, twelve 6-inch component speakers, and three water-cooled Rockford Fosgate amplifiers. A 6.5 kW Onan generator powers the boat, backed by a 1000-watt inverter that automatically transfers to generator or shore power. Central vacuum, LED lighting throughout with new fixtures, and underwater Sea Blaze lights complete the accommodations. The cabin was extensively refreshed with new upholstery, fiberglass cabinetry, canvas, and isinglass within the last five years.

The engine compartment is spray-foamed for heat and noise reduction. Shafts and rudders were repacked last year; shafts, props, and cutlass bearings were replaced four years ago. The bottom was sandblasted and refinished with barrier coat and bottom paint approximately twelve years ago, with annual touchups maintained. Batteries are three years old. New switches, gauges, and circuit breaker blocks replaced the original fuse blocks. Two auxiliary heaters serve the cockpit. The hull shows 821 hours of operation. New vinyl striping was applied in 2025.
