1988 Willard Downeast 50’

This 50-foot Willard Downeast began life as a US Navy utility craft and was converted to a cruising trawler in 2011. The interior showcases Brazilian teak deck planking throughout, with Cypress cabinetry, joinery, and trim work.

Power comes from a 671 Detroit diesel main engine paired with a Northern Lights 6-kilowatt generator. The electrical system includes four Trojan batteries rated at 415 amp-hours, a 2000/3000-watt Xantrax inverter-charger, and three 5-foot by 3-foot solar panels managed by a Xanbus solar controller.
