This 28-foot Baja is a twin-engine performance sportfish built on a fiberglass hull. Power comes from a pair of fuel-injected Mercruiser 8.1-liter engines, each rated at 425 horsepower and freshwater cooled, with a combined output of 850 hp. The boat reaches speeds near 70 mph and cruises around 50 mph. The engines were installed in 2009 with 451 hours of running time, and new Bravo 1 X Drives were fitted in 2011.
The cabin includes a galley with AC/DC refrigeration, a single head with porta potty, and bolster seats with drop-out inserts. The boat carries four batteries with dual switches and shore power capability. Navigation and communication equipment includes a VHF radio, and entertainment is provided by a stereo system. High-performance trim tabs and stainless steel propellers complete the package.
The transom assemblies were replaced in 2009. The boat has been stored indoors in a heated dry stack for nearly two decades, with minimal use—just 7 hours in the last three years. A matching aluminum trailer is included, fitted with new electric over hydraulic stainless steel disc brakes, new axles, new tires, wheels, and lights, though the trailer has not been used since these upgrades were installed.
