This 31-foot Blackfin Combi is a fiberglass sportfish powered by twin Cummins diesel engines producing 660 horsepower. The boat reaches speeds of 30 knots and cruises at 21 knots. In 2020, both engines underwent comprehensive rebuilds by Fork River, including new bearings, pistons, injectors, cylinders (baked, bored, and honed), valve work, pumps, turbo rebuilds, and ancillary components. The current engine hours stand at approximately 500 since that rebuild.
The single-cabin layout includes a head with holding tank and a stand-up configuration. The galley features hot and cold fresh water systems. New Sunbrella cabin cushions and air conditioning/heating provide comfort underway. A diesel generator supports onboard systems.
Electronics are comprehensive and current: dual Garmin GPS Map 8612 multifunction displays, GMR Fantom 54-inch open array radar, GSD 25 Chirp sonar with Airmar B265 transducer, AIS 800, and dual VHF systems (Standard Horizon GX 1850 main station with auxiliary remote and redundant unit with Shakespeare antenna). Navigation aids include satellite antenna.
The deck carries professional fishing gear: Lee outriggers, teak rocket launcher with rod holders, and a custom cockpit tackle locker. Additional equipment includes a Good brand electric anchor windlass, Engel cooler, salt water washdown, Lumitec LED underwater lights, under-gunnel LED spreader and transom lights, and cabin ceiling rod storage for 16 rods.
