The 1997 Luhrs 32 Open is a fiberglass sport fishing boat with twin rebuilt 454 engines, each dyno-tested to 425 horsepower. The boat cruises at 24 knots and features a proven open cockpit design suited for fishing and entertaining.

This yacht has undergone extensive refitting in recent years. Engine work includes new Holley Sniper fuel injection systems with aluminum manifolds and electronic ignition, plus rebuilt transmissions, new prop shafts, hanger bearings, seals, and props. New fuel lines and fuel tank were installed in 2017. The electrical system has been completely rewired with new battery charger and battery system. Navigation and safety equipment includes new Garmin radar, twin-screen Garmin fishfinder plotter at lower helm, single Garmin fishfinder plotter at upper helm, and new navigation, spreader, anchor, flood, and underwater lights throughout. Accommodations upgrades include new custom twin captain chairs, passenger seat cushions, upper helm cushions, and sun shade. Additional new items include dual helm controls for trim tabs, new horn, new mufflers and exhaust tubes, new engine compartment blowers, and Fusion sound system with speakers. New glass surround was installed in 2018.
