1989 Catalina 30

This 1989 Catalina 30 is a fiberglass sloop with a 23-horsepower Universal diesel engine and a cruising speed of 6 knots. The boat carries a full-batten mainsail with Stack Pac cover, a 130 genoa with sunshield, and a new Schaefer furler. The rigging includes a solid boom vang, upgraded low-friction mainsail track, and self-tailing winches throughout.

Navigation and communication systems include a Raymarine chart plotter, wind speed and direction indicator, and autopilot, complemented by a Datamarine knotmeter and depth sounder and a Standard Horizon VHF radio. Power is managed by a West Marine 10-amp battery charger with both automatic and manual bilge pumps. A solar exhaust fan ventilates the forward hatch.

The boat sleeps seven and features a galley with a two-burner propane stove and oven, double stainless sinks, a large cooler, and ample storage. The head includes a marine toilet, vanity, and shower with new fixtures. Interior cushions have been renewed, and five opening ports have new lenses. Deck amenities include a cockpit dodger, pedestal cover, stern pulpit seats, two sets of cockpit cushions, and a stern swim ladder. A newer, larger rudder has been installed.

Additional equipment includes a JVC stereo with CD player, flat-screen TV, and a bulkhead-mounted dining table. The boat is equipped with a cockpit dodger and protective covers.
