1989 Hunter Legend 40

The 1989 Hunter Legend 40 is a 40-foot masthead sloop built as a cruiser-racer, featuring a fin keel and spade rudder. The boat has a beam of approximately 12.3 feet and is powered by a 40-horsepower Yanmar diesel engine with roughly 2,700 hours of running time.

The interior includes two cabins and two heads, with the master suite positioned aft. Climate control is provided by two reverse-cycle heat and air-conditioning units. All internal plumbing has been replaced with Shields 105 Poly X sanitation hose.

The rig is configured for high-performance sailing, and both sails were serviced in 2017 with minimal use since that time. Electronics include wind, speed, and depth instruments.
