This 1989 Rampage 28 Sportsman is a fiberglass sportfish powered by twin Chrysler 360 engines with fresh water cooling and copper risers, producing 600 total horsepower. Velvet Drive transmissions handle power delivery to the water. The engines have approximately 1950 hours and have been maintained with regular oil changes every 50 hours or seasonally. Raw water pumps were replaced two years ago, and new zincs and bottom paint have been recently applied.
The boat accommodates fishing with rocket launchers from Atlanta Towers and a Sitex 106L HD color fishfinder for locating game. Navigation equipment includes a 9-inch Garmin chartplotter with 2D chip, radar, and heading sensor, along with an iCom VHF radio. A washdown pump and Raritan head are fitted for practicality. HO alternators support electrical demands.
The hull underwent extensive refinishing in 2009–2010, with all paint removed and seven coats of barrier coat applied before final painting. The boat includes a Sony stereo with 6x9 speakers and an oil stove for comfort. Spare oil, filters, and an extra set of propellers are supplied with the boat. Bottom paint is current and the boat is water-ready.
