1989 X-Yachts X-119

This 1989 X-Yacht X-119 is a 39-foot racing sailboat designed by Niels Jeppesen. Known for its balanced blend of speed and comfort, the boat features a fiberglass hull with a 2-meter keel and 10.79-foot beam. A single 28-horsepower Volvo Penta diesel engine provides auxiliary power and has seen minimal use with consistent annual maintenance. The sail inventory includes upper and lower shrouds, two mainsails, a genoa, double jib, storm jib, 1,025 Spy, and Big Boy sail, suitable for both cruising and racing.

The interior accommodates three cabins with one head. The galley includes a capable oven and electric refrigerator. Heating with vented outlets serves the cabins, saloon, and head. Interior lighting is fully LED throughout. A 75-liter blackwater tank was installed, and batteries date to January 2024.

The hull received comprehensive attention four years ago in Saint-Tropez, where all paint was stripped to the gelcoat—found to be in excellent condition with no osmosis. Four coats of epoxy primer and four coats of antifouling paint were then applied. A hull and engine overhaul were completed within the past year, confirming the boat's sound structural condition.
