A 1990 Bristol 47.7 cutter-sloop built for serious ocean cruising, this 47-foot yacht combines classic design with thoughtful modern upgrades. Hand-laminated solid fiberglass construction throughout the hull and deck ensures durability, while a centerboard drawing just 4'11" opens access to shallow anchorages unavailable to comparable fixed-keel boats. The yacht is currently configured and sailed as a sloop; the complete cutter rig with staysail, furler, and running backstays is stored ashore and available for reassembly by those planning extended voyages.

Below deck, two private staterooms each with ensuite head access provide comfortable accommodations. The forward cabin features a king-sized vee-berth with custom memory foam mattress and generous cedar-lined hanging lockers. The aft master stateroom offers a queen berth offset to starboard—ideal for offshore passages—plus a separate shower stall. The main salon converts sleeping space via upholstered settees and houses a custom dining table on stainless steel sliders. An 80 hp Yanmar turbo diesel installed in 2017 carries 898 hours as of July 2025; fuel tankage consists of two 40-gallon aluminum tanks newly installed in 2026. Two Jabsco electric heads discharge to 29 gallons of holding capacity across two tanks with deck pumpout.

Propulsion and sailing systems reflect continuous investment: electric in-mast furling allows mainsail handling from the cockpit, while the boat carries a Maxprop feathering prop, Lewmar bow thruster, and multiple Lewmar winches (manual and electric). A Phasor 4.5 kW generator, Freedom 2500-watt inverter, and four AGM batteries with high-output alternator support extended time at anchor. Navigation and autopilot systems include Simrad and Garmin chartplotters, B&G autopilot and sailing data system, and VHF radio. Total sail area is 1,125 square feet with 2019 Mack Sails for main and genoa. The yacht has been winter-stored indoors each season and is well-maintained throughout.
