1990 Custom Rebuilt Dive Boat/Offshore

This 50-foot aluminum dive boat was completely rebuilt in 2023 by Silverstone Marine, with the hull originally designed and built by Fraser Shipyards. The construction uses marine-grade 5086 aluminum for the hull (1/4-inch bottom, 3/16-inch sides) and 6061 aluminum for the cabin structure, kept lightweight at 13,500 pounds while maintaining structural integrity. Power comes from three Yamaha 350HP V8 outboard engines running on gasoline, each with just 20 hours on them. The engine package delivers a cruising speed of 27 knots at 3,000 rpm and a maximum speed of 49 knots, consuming approximately 15 gallons per hour at cruise.

The enclosed cabin spans 16 feet in length and 10 feet in width with 6 feet 7 inches of headroom. It features full insulation in walls and ceiling, a Dometic electric power steering system, and a Smooth Moves suspension base for the helm seat. Climate control includes a diesel heater with remote, while a Nova Kook refrigerator with freezer and a Kuuma 6-gallon hot water heater support daily living. Interior lighting comprises three zones of dimmable LED. A Jabsco electric toilet is installed, and the cabin layout allows provisions for up to ten passenger seats or alternative sleeping configurations depending on mission requirements.

Electronics include a Furuno TZT12F multifunction display paired with a DRS12A 12-kilowatt radar and a 520-PLD transducer for navigation and fish finding. The vessel is fitted with Yamaha Command Link gauges, a Uniden UM385 VHF, and a Maxwell RC10 windlass with rope locker. Power management systems comprise a Xantrex Freedom XC Pro 2000-watt inverter/charger, Xantrex Bluetooth remote panel, and 50-amp shore power connection. Six Rule 2000-gallon-per-hour bilge pumps provide redundant dewatering, and a Marinco spotlight is mounted for deck illumination.

Fuel capacity is 250 gallons, fresh water 50 gallons, and holding tank 50 gallons. The aft deck includes provisions for davit crane installation, useful for dive operations or offshore work. Engine head gaskets and seals received extensive preventative maintenance during the rebuild.
