1990 Little Harbor Sloop - 58'

This 1990 Little Harbor sloop is a 58-foot center cockpit cruising yacht with a fiberglass deep-vee hull and a proven design built for blue-water sailing. Power comes from a Cummins 6BT diesel engine producing 210 horsepower, with cruising speeds around 8 knots and a maximum speed of 9 knots. The boat carries a 12.5-kilowatt Northern Lights generator and includes a dinghy.

The mast is a Hood in-mast furling aluminum design with a double-spreader configuration and keel-stepped installation; it was removed, inspected, and powder coated in 2015. Running rigging includes five Barient winches in various sizes—three on the mast (24-45ST, recently rebuilt) and two pairs on deck and in the cockpit (36ST, 32ST, and 28+ST models, all manual or manual/hydraulic). Additional gear includes a Marriman centerboard winch, a motorized Harkins staysail, and a Lewmar hydraulic pump (model 2HYS). Chain plates were removed and inspected in 2017. An electric windlass is fitted for anchoring.

Accommodations include three cabins and one head. The boat draws 5 feet with the centerboard up and 11 feet 6 inches with it lowered, making it suitable for both open water and shallow-draft exploration.
