1990 South Shore 30 Downeast

This 1990 South Shore 30 is a downeast-style fishing boat built on the proven Calvin Beal hull. The single Cummins 6BTA diesel engine produces 315 horsepower and was rebuilt in 2016 with 1100 original hours. The boat cruises at 18 knots and carries two 50-gallon fuel tanks.

The layout includes one cabin suited for extended offshore trips. The boat is outfitted comprehensively for tuna fishing, with a built-in tackle station, 11 swivel rod holders, transom livewell, tuna door, and outriggers. On deck are a washdown hose and two Durabright mini floodlights.

Electronics center on a Furuno NavNet TZtouch2 15-inch multifunction display integrating radar, chartplotter, and fish finder capabilities. A Simrad autopilot, dual VHF radios, and stereo system complete the helm setup. Navigation and safety gear include an EPIRB and liferaft.

Recent updates include a new Lewmar bow thruster, new propeller, three new batteries, and new Lumitec underwater and gunnel lights, all completed in 2024. The boat has been continually maintained and stored indoors.
