1991 Hatteras 60 ED

This 1991 Hatteras 60 ED is a 60-foot fiberglass motor yacht powered by twin Detroit Diesel engines producing 1,900 combined horsepower. The boat cruises at 14 knots and reaches a maximum speed of 20 knots. Built on the extended deck hull design, it offers improved seaworthiness and layout compared to earlier models. Headroom throughout reaches 6 feet 7 inches.

The accommodations include four cabins and three heads arranged with two forward staterooms and heads, plus a full-beam aft master cabin with ensuite head, shower, and tub. The main salon is bright and airy with an L-shaped sofa, entertainment center, and dry bar. The galley features a four-burner electric stove, convection oven, dishwasher, and full-size refrigerator with freezer. A separate dinette with a hi-lo table and slide-out leaf provides dining space.

The pilothouse is well-equipped with a Robertson autopilot, Garmin GPS, Simrad radar, forward-looking sonar, trim tabs, Naiad stabilizers, and dual VHF radios with AIS. The bridge deck offers protected seating, a bimini top, and a davit crane. Exterior features include an electric windlass with 150 feet of all-chain rode, boarding ladder and ramp, covered walkways, and bow sun pads.

Recent significant maintenance completed in September 2025 included new bottom paint, replacement of all through-hull fittings, forward cabin window rebuilding, rudder repacking, and all exhaust hose replacement. Additional work performed includes new fuel injectors, batteries, battery charger, fire extinguishers, and engine room fire system. The generator received a new raw water impeller in March 2026. Naiad stabilizers were rebuilt in August 2024. The boat includes a 20 kW generator, six air conditioning units, and six electric bilge pumps.
