1991 Ocean Yachts 53 Super Sport

This 1991 Ocean Yachts 53 Super Sport is a fiberglass sportfish built on a lightweight hull design that delivers performance and volume typically found in larger convertibles. Twin Detroit Diesel engines rated at 1,470 hp achieve a cruising speed of 26 knots and a maximum speed of 29 knots, supporting serious offshore capability and extended range.

The interior accommodates three cabins and two heads, configured as a spacious liveaboard with recent modernization throughout. A comprehensive interior refit added custom high-end joinery and contemporary finishes. New mattresses were installed in 2024, a new hot water heater and modern toilet system in 2022, and new Bosch washer and dryer for convenience. Fresh 4K smart televisions and Starlink connectivity are now aboard.

Outside, flush-mount glass replaced all original windows and frames, while a full paint job in ghost gray hull and snow white superstructure was completed in 2022. New exterior cushions were fitted in 2025. Both engines were overhauled to low hours, the sea water cooling system flushed, and the outriggers rebuilt.
