1992 Beneteau First 310

The 1992 Beneteau First 310 is a 31-foot fiberglass cruiser-racer designed by Group Finot, combining spirited sailing performance with comfortable accommodations. The hull features a cast iron fin keel and responsive spade rudder for excellent stability and tracking, while the modern rig and easily driven hull form make the boat manageable for both single-handed sailors and full crews. Power comes from a Yanmar 3GM20 diesel engine with approximately 970 hours, repowered by the previous owner, paired with a three-blade fixed propeller.

The cockpit is intelligently laid out for efficient sail handling, with all control lines led aft through Spinlock rope clutches. A full dodger, bimini, and connector panel with new windows provide weather protection, while a fold-up table, cushions, and canvas covers create a comfortable space both underway and at anchor. The deck carries a comprehensive sail inventory including a new 2023 Dacron full-batten mainsail with stack pack system, furling genoa, and cruising spinnaker with sock. Rigging has been systematically upgraded with new halyards installed in 2023 and 2026, Dyneema sheets, and dual Lewmar winch systems.

Below deck, the interior maximizes the 10-foot-7-inch beam with an airy layout centered on a spacious main salon. The boat features two private cabins: a forward vee berth with overhead hatch and hanging locker, and an enclosed aft cabin with memory foam mattress and opening ports. The galley houses a three-burner propane stove with oven, stainless steel sink, and Danfoss 12-volt refrigeration. A dedicated head with manual marine toilet, pullout shower faucet, and oversized holding tank completes the accommodations.

Systems have been extensively modernized with dual 100 amp-hour Power Queen lithium-ion house batteries, dedicated battery charger with monitor, and comprehensive electronics including a Raymarine Seatalk system (wind, speed, depth, and wheel pilot) and Garmin 530 chartplotter. A Statpower 800-watt inverter and shorepower cord support the electrical infrastructure. Recent refurbishment includes new pressure water pump and tank cleaned and refurbished in 2025, new holding tank hoses in 2025, and new shower sump pump in 2023. The yacht is supplied with a steel folding seven-pad storage cradle for winter haul-out.
