A 1992 Hallberg-Rassy 45 designed by German Frers and built by Swedish builder Hallberg-Rassy. This centre cockpit cruiser is regarded as one of the finest bluewater yachts of her generation—strong, well-balanced, and built to sail and live aboard for extended ocean passages. The boat has benefited from substantial recent investment focused on offshore reliability rather than cosmetic upgrades.
The interior features the preferred three-cabin layout with two heads and classic mahogany joinery. Teak decks were professionally refurbished in 2020 and remain in very good condition. The centre cockpit design provides security and control for long-distance cruising.
Recent major upgrades include a new Yanmar 4JH110 diesel engine installed in 2025 with a five-year manufacturer's warranty. Standing rigging was completely replaced by Seldén in 2020. Navigation equipment includes a new B&G Zeus 3S 12-inch plotter and B&G Halo 20+ radar, with two independent autopilot systems for offshore redundancy. A North Sails in-mast furling mainsail from 2020, a Victron lithium battery system, and a Superwind wind generator installed in 2021 support self-sufficient cruising. A Rocna 40 kg anchor and a new Highfield UL340 aluminium RIB are included, along with an extensive inventory of spares and tools.
Now in third ownership since new, the yacht was held by the previous owner for approximately 25 years and is presented in notably good interior condition for her age.
