The 1992 Intrepid 30 Open Cuddy is a 30-foot fiberglass fishing boat powered by twin Yamaha 300-horsepower outboards. Designed by Jim Wynne, the hull employs sandwich core construction and multidirectional cloth lamination to achieve strength and light weight. The integrated outboard bracket is positioned closer to the transom than traditional bolt-on designs, gaining cockpit space and improving maneuverability when handling fish. The boat cruises at 34 knots and reaches 54 knots at top speed.
The open cockpit layout is dry and unobstructed, with ample rod holders throughout, an in-deck livewell capacity of 4 dozen baits, and raw water washdown. The forward cuddy cabin accommodates extended trips. Electronics include a Garmin radar and chart plotter with fish finder, plus a SimRad chart plotter and fish finder, SimRad autopilot, and Optimus steering.
Fuel capacity comprises a 170-gallon main tank installed in 2016 and three 50-gallon auxiliary tanks replaced in 2016 and 2017. A 2017 refit at Holtz Boatworks added a sportfish-style hardtop with enclosed array radar, outriggers, teaser reels, and spreader lights. The boat is equipped with a 2016 float-on tri-axle trailer.
Engine hours stand at 400. The boat has been maintained professionally and comes with comprehensive fishing and offshore capability.
