The 1992 Luhrs Tournament 300 is a 30-foot fiberglass cuddy cabin powered by twin 330 hp Mercruiser engines built by Pyramid Engine Lab. With a beam of just over 10 feet, the boat cruises at 26 knots and reaches speeds near 33 knots. Two cabins and a head provide comfortable overnight accommodation for fishing trips or coastal cruising.
This boat underwent an extensive two-year restoration completed in June 2025, with documentation and photographs available. The engines, transmissions, and all mechanical systems were completely rebuilt or replaced, including new shaft assemblies, propellers, trim tabs, batteries, fuel and oil systems, and freshwater equipment. The hull running gear received new cutlass bearings, through-hull fittings, and anti-fouling paint, with custom stainless steel sand shoes included. The boat currently has 25 hours on the rebuilt engines and new systems.
Interior and exterior updates include new galley cabinetry and countertop, custom teak seadeck, new upholstery and cushions, and a canvas enclosure with isinglass. Electrical systems are entirely new: dual Garmin ECHOMAP fishfinders with sidescan transducer, new running lights, engine gauges, stereo, and LED deck lighting. The rub rail was refinished, hull seams re-caulked, and the engine compartment epoxy-painted. A bait live well, freshwater washdown system, and updated tackle holders support fishing capability.
