ASGARD is a 42.84-metre ketch-rigged sailing superyacht designed by Bruce King Yacht Design and built by Abeking & Rasmussen in Germany in 1993. A full custom build, she features a wooden hull and is powered by a single MTU diesel engine delivering 985 horsepower. The yacht reaches a maximum speed of 12 knots with a cruising speed of 10 knots, and is equipped with a daggerboard that enhances sailing performance.
The accommodation comprises four guest cabins sleeping eight, including a full-beam master suite with a skylight, two double cabins, and a twin berth. Crew quarters accommodate six. The interior, designed by Winch Design, combines mahogany detailing with white-washed panelling throughout. A split-level saloon connected by a grand stairway incorporates lounge seating and a formal dining area. Teak decking runs across the exterior, with an alfresco dining table positioned forward of the helm.
The yacht has undergone refits in 2014 and 2020. She has competed in sailing regattas including the Superyacht Cup and Rolex Maxi Worlds, racing in the Spirit of Tradition Class.
