A 1993 Luhrs 250 Open with an integrated tower, this 25-foot fiberglass sportfish is powered by a 380-horsepower Mercruiser 454 Mag MPI engine capable of 30 knots top speed and a 24-knot cruising speed. The boat handles well in open water, with proven seaworthiness in six- to eight-foot seas.
The restoration, completed to approximately 95 percent, included significant mechanical and structural work. The engine received new risers, manifolds, belts, and hoses. A new Hurth 630A transmission was installed, along with a new shaft and two new propellers. The hull was refinished in AwlCraft fighting-lady-yellow paint.
The interior and systems were updated throughout. New upholstery and cushions were fitted, and new climate control equipment—a heat pump and air conditioning unit—was added. A new battery charger, windlass, electric head, and trim tabs were installed. The helm features dual Raymarine C90W displays with HD radar for navigation and fish finding. The enclosure is new with 40-gauge Strataglass and a Macrolite front panel.
A trailer is available with the purchase.
