1994 Beneteau Oceanis 400

This 1994 Beneteau Oceanis 400 is a 40-foot fiberglass cruising sailboat built around a proven two-cabin, two-head owner's layout. The yacht features a spacious, naturally lit salon with cherry wood joinery, comfortable forward master stateroom with en-suite head, and an aft guest cabin. The galley is well-equipped with a three-burner gimballed propane stove, oven, and refrigerator with freezer storage, while the cockpit is wide and open, designed for both entertaining and single-handed sailing.

The boat is powered by a 50-horsepower Perkins diesel engine and equipped with a Lombardini 8-kilowatt generator. Rigging is configured for single-handed operation, with all lines leading back to the cockpit. The sails include a 2019 in-mast furling mainsail and furling jib from FarEast Sailmakers, both in excellent condition, plus spares. Additional deck features include a walk-through transom with boarding ladder, freshwater outdoor shower, windlass with foot control, and a wide side decks for safe foredeck access.

Recent upgrades include a 2024 Bimini and dodger, 2024 Victron energy system with 2,000-watt inverter and Cerbo GX communications, three 200-amp-hour AGM house batteries installed in 2021, and 2022 B&G Triton 2 electronics with Simrad radar. A 2024 refrigerator compressor upgrade and new 16,000-BTU air conditioning unit have been completed. The hull was stripped to bare laminate and professionally sealed with multi-coat epoxy barrier system and anti-fouling bottom paint in 2022.
