The Blackfin 29 Combi is a sportfish built around serious offshore capability. Twin Caterpillar 350 hp diesel engines mounted low and wide in the deep-vee hull deliver stable performance and fuel economy, with a cruising speed of 23 knots and maximum speed of 30 knots. The hull is solid hand-laid fiberglass with longitudinal stringers, while the cored deck construction supports the rigors of extended fishing. High-aspect external rudders provide responsive handling. The boat carries a half tower, outriggers, rod holders, and both salt and fresh water washdowns for working the water.

The practical cabin layout includes a convertible dinette that transforms into a V-berth, a mini-galley, and an enclosed standup head with shower—accommodations suited to overnight trips.
