The 2000 Luhrs Tournament 290 Open is a 29-foot fiberglass sportfisher built for serious fishing and cruising. Twin 5.7L Marine Power engines producing 325 hp each power the boat, with new engines and gears installed in 2017 that have accumulated just 100 hours of run time. The open design integrates practical fishing features including bait prep and rigging stations, washdown systems, rod holders, and rocket launchers throughout the cockpit.
The boat includes a full upper station for helm control and sightlines, a galley for food preparation, and a head compartment with shower. The boat is wired and plumbed for a generator installation. All running gear was replaced within the last year, and a complete electronics package was installed at the same time.
The boat has been dry-stored and benefits from documented maintenance history. The construction combines Luhrs' established design with modern production techniques, and includes a transferable five-year limited structural hull warranty.
