1994 Catalac 11 Meter

This 1994 Catalac 11 Meter is a 36-foot fiberglass catamaran built with GRP sandwich construction for strength and safety. The design delivers a bright, open interior with exceptional headroom at 6 feet 3 inches and stable twin-hull performance. Twin Yanmar 2GM20 diesel engines provide independent propulsion on each hull.

The two-cabin layout includes a convertible salon berth in addition to dedicated sleeping quarters, with a single head featuring a 2020 electric toilet and macerator. A Waeco 40-gallon fridge/freezer and two-burner gas cooktop serve the galley. Water is managed through a pair of 92.5-gallon tanks fed by a watermaker capable of 14.5 gallons per hour.

Power systems emphasize self-sufficiency: six 106Ah lithium house batteries paired with a 3000-watt inverter, 420-watt wind generator, and three 250-watt solar panels with dual controllers. A hydraulic Vetus steering system operates with an ST-7000 Autohelm autopilot. Navigation and communication equipment includes radar, VHF, SSB, depth sounder, and wind instrumentation.

The sailing rig carries four sails in good condition: a fully battened mainsail (289.5 sq ft) and headsail (322.9 sq ft) by Arun, a 110% jib by Yelkenbichler, and a jib/gennaker (661.9 sq ft) by E-F, all controlled by a Furlex Type B MKII furling system. Recent maintenance in 2025 included bottom paint, propeller coating, fresh zincs, rebuilt winches and water pumps, and overhaul of the electric windlass. A tender—a 2021 AB 9-foot aluminum with 2021 Yamaha 15hp outboard—is included with davits for deployment.
