This 1994 Custom Akbas gulet ketch is a 78-foot wooden motor sailer built at the respected Akbas Shipyard. The triple-laminated epoxy-coated hull was refinished in 2022–2023, restoring its structural integrity and rich navy finish. A single Perkins 300 hp diesel engine with ZF electronic gearbox drives the yacht to a cruising speed of 7 knots and maximum speed of 10 knots. The boat carries 4,000 litres of fresh water, 2,000 litres of black water, and 2,000 litres of diesel fuel in stainless steel tanks.
The yacht accommodates guests across four double cabins plus one single crew cabin, with four heads total. The owner's cabin includes a shower and electric toilet. Below deck, custom wood interiors, fine paneling, and inlays frame the saloon with dual helm stations—one inside, one outside. Wide windows and open cockpits provide natural light and ventilation. Air conditioning and heating via Webasto systems maintain comfort throughout.
A complete refit in 2023 overhauled all plumbing, wiring, rigging, and spars, fitted new Harken hydraulic furlers, and renewed safety systems. The fully hydraulic deck system operates sails, winches, davits, and windlasses. Navigation equipment includes Furuno radar, GPS, and chartplotter; an Iridium satellite phone provides communication. A Horizon Safari watermaker produces 120 litres per hour. Solar panels and gel batteries support the systems. The teak deck features cream awnings and cushions.
The yacht comes equipped with a 3.5-metre Sea-Blue fiberglass tender with 20 hp Mercury engine, davit system, gangway, 12-person life raft, and solar cover packages. An Onan 22.5 kVA generator provides independent power. The engine has only 80 hours of running time.
