2006 Custom Gulet Ketch

This 78-foot custom gulet ketch combines traditional Turkish craftsmanship with practical cruising capability. Built in 2006 from solid mahogany, the hull delivers excellent seaworthiness and stability, with a displacement of 95 tonnes. Power comes from a single 420 hp Volvo diesel engine, supported by a 47 kW Perkins generator. The yacht is ketch-rigged with approximately 260 square meters of sail area spread across steel masts—the main at 24.6 meters and the mizzen at 19.2 meters—making it equally comfortable under sail or motor.

The layout accommodates seven cabins with seven heads throughout. Five guest cabins are positioned forward under the saloon and aft, while two crew cabins provide additional berths. All cabins feature en suite heads with shower and toilet. The main saloon is spacious and bright, opening onto generous outdoor areas including ten sunbed positions on deck. The helm station offers commanding views and excellent working space.

Systems and equipment reflect a well-appointed cruising boat. Fuel capacity is 2,500 liters; fresh water storage totals 4,500 liters, supported by a water maker producing 160 liters per hour. Waste holding capacity is 4,500 liters. Power management includes ten batteries and a 100-amp Victron charger. Cooling is handled by nine air conditioning units totaling 116,000 BTU. Ground tackle comprises two 160 kg anchors with 160 meters of 14 mm chain and hydraulic windlass. The yacht has a cruising speed of 8 knots and maximum speed of 10 knots.
