1994 Fountaine Pajot Venezia 42

This 1994 Fountaine Pajot Venezia 42 is a fiberglass catamaran built with an extended mast and bowsprit to improve light-wind performance. Twin Yanmar diesel engines of 58 hp each provide a cruising speed of 6 knots with a maximum speed of 7.5 knots. The broad 22.8-foot beam creates substantial deck space and interior volume across 41 feet of length.

The sailing rig benefits from recent sails and rigging, with two-speed electric Harken winches in the cockpit to simplify sail handling. A rigid bimini with side covers shields the cockpit from weather. The boat carries large solar panels, a wind generator, and a water maker for extended autonomy at sea.

Below deck are four cabins arranged across the twin hulls, with eight heads serving the interior. The forward cabin converts into a bed, office, or workshop space as needed. A custom stainless steel galley was installed during an interior renovation. Recent upgrades also include a new dinghy.
