1994 Hunter 33.5

This 1994 Hunter 33.5 is a solid fiberglass sailing yacht built with hand-laid E-glass and polyester resin over a solid hull. At 33 feet with a 10.92-foot beam, she features the shoal draft bulb wing keel common to the model, drawing just 4 feet 6 inches. The deck is edged with aluminum toe-rails and fitted with stainless steel pulpits and double lifelines. Notable systems include a 2024 electric ePropulsion pod drive with a 200-amp-hour 48-volt LiFePO4 motor battery, plus a 600-amp-hour 12-volt house bank with 500-watt solar array and Victron charge controllers. A portable 2300-watt gas generator provides backup charging capability.

Below deck, the cabin is defined by abundant wood and natural light from multiple opening hatches and cabin trunk windows. The forward cabin holds a generous V-berth with cabinet storage and a closing door suitable for dressing. The aft cabin features a larger berth with access beneath to engine cooling components, strainers, and the prop shaft. The saloon offers a wraparound dining table that lowers to create a two-person berth, while the port settee converts when back cushions are removed. Storage throughout is plentiful. The galley occupies the aft starboard area with good workspace, and the head with shower sits to starboard, featuring a vanity opposite and a substantial lid over the toilet.

Recent upgrades and maintenance include a 2024 ePropulsion motor, new bimini and dodger from 2023 to 2024, interior upholstery refresh, stackpack with lazy jacks added in 2023, new swing companionway door in 2023, new 12-volt refrigerator with freezer box, and new LED lighting and faucets throughout. The five-year-old jib features roller furling. Deck gear includes 130 feet of anchor line with chain rode, snubber, and stainless claw; dinghy davits; and a Jabsco marine toilet installed in 2021. Navigation equipment includes a Raymarine autopilot and a large B&G chart plotter with GPS and depth finder from 2023. A two-burner alcohol stove provides galley cooking.
