This 36-foot Hunter Vision is a converted sailboat adapted for trawler-style cruising. Power comes from a Yammer diesel engine, and the boat carries 110 gallons of fuel across three separate tanks, consuming roughly three-quarters of a gallon at 7 knots. Cruise control and hydraulic steering are fitted for easier handling underway.
The boat is equipped for extended self-sufficient cruising. Solar power generation consists of five 100-watt panels plus an additional smaller panel, supported by battery banks and inverters for off-grid operation. A brand-new 3500-watt generator with documentation is included. The electrical system runs through three new batteries. An electric anchor winch is installed for ground tackle handling.
Below, accommodations include two berths and a head with wet basin. The galley features a top-opening fridge with freezer plus two mini fridge-freezers and a microwave. A composting toilet is fitted. Air conditioning and a navigation and electronics system are aboard. Water tankage is provided.
Recent work includes a new topside paint job. The boat has been actively cruised and is ready for operation.
