1994 Nimble Kodiak Pilothouse Motor Sailor

The Nimble Kodiak 25 is a pilothouse motor sailor designed by Ted Brewer, built in fiberglass with a beam of 8.5 feet. Powered by a single 20 hp Tohatsu outboard engine, she combines sailing capability with engine power. The design prioritizes seaworthiness and comfort for coastal cruising, with a protected cockpit and thoughtful layout suited to the Pacific Northwest and beyond. She arrives on a double axle trailer.

The pilothouse offers standing headroom throughout, with a full helm station inside featuring hydraulic wheel steering and the option of tiller steering from the cockpit. A forced air diesel heating system keeps the cabin warm. Sleeping accommodation includes a v-berth and two single berths. The galley is equipped with an ice-box, single burner stove, and sink. One head is aboard.

The cockpit features a bimini that converts into a full enclosure, extending the season for cruising in colder months. The boat recently completed a cruise of Shuswap Lake and is ready for water.
