The Com-Pac 25 is a trailerable sailing yacht built for volume and livability at modest size. At 8.5 feet of beam, she tows without permit. The design delivers accommodations for five with 5'10" of standing headroom throughout. Below decks, teak and bronze fittings define the traditional interior: a forward double berth cabin separated by a teak bulkhead, an L-shaped galley with stainless steel sink and storage drawers to starboard of the companionway, and a private head with molded fiberglass vanity, sink, mirror, and under-counter storage. A bi-fold table stows on the bulkhead when not in use. Topside, bronze opening ports and a mix of bronze and stainless steel hardware accent the deck.
The yacht is rigged as a masthead sloop with a moderate, easy-to-handle sail plan and an inboard spade rudder that provides responsive helm. The gaff is equipped with modern systems including a roller furling genoa, a 2013 Sailcrafters mainsail with reefs and Dutchman system, a gennaker, and primary winches. Wheel steering with guard, traveler, and helmsman's seat complete the cockpit.
Power comes from a 2016 Tohatsu 9.8 hp four-stroke outboard with a six-gallon fuel tank, paired with a galvanized trailer fitted with winch, jack, and keel guides. A full inventory of cruising equipment is aboard: dual 12-volt battery system with 30-amp shore power and charger, Danforth and secondary anchors with rode and chain, bilge and manual head pumps, cabin and running lights, dodger and bimini, a 20-gallon hot and cold fresh water system with cockpit shower, butane stove, and navigation instruments including compass and depth sounder. Electronics include a Pioneer stereo with interior and cockpit speakers and a television. Four personal flotation devices and a life sling are on board.
