The 1994 Ocean Alexander 520 Pilothouse is a 52-foot fiberglass pilothouse designed for extended cruising. She is powered by twin Detroit Diesel engines producing 800 horsepower combined, recently rebuilt with approximately 600 hours since overhaul. She cruises at 14 knots with a maximum speed of 17 knots and is equipped with a bow thruster for maneuvering in confined spaces.
The main deck salon features an open layout with the galley positioned at salon level, large windows providing panoramic views, comfortable seating, and a glass-topped table. The lower helm station offers a fully equipped, protected alternative with wraparound settee and direct access to the companionway. The flybridge helm is outfitted with updated Garmin chartplotter and full instrumentation. Both helm stations provide comprehensive control of the yacht underway.
Below decks, three staterooms and two full heads accommodate extended cruising. The master stateroom features an island queen berth, generous under-berth storage, and illuminated oval ports. The en-suite head is finished with composite panels, parquet teak sole, separate shower stall, and polished chrome fittings. Rich teak joinery throughout the interior is well-maintained. An Espar forced air heating system provides climate control for year-round operation.
The yacht has been protected in a boathouse until 2024, shielded from the elements throughout her life. Teak woodwork and overall condition reflect consistent care and maintenance typical of a vessel kept from the weather.
