Sapphire is a 1994 Passport Royal Passport 44, a cutter-rigged cruising sailboat built on a fiberglass hull. The yacht features a sugar scoop stern, center cockpit, and an extended fin keel with skeg rudder. Power comes from a 63 hp Yammer diesel engine paired with a Maxprop, with a cruising speed of 8 knots. The sailplan includes a furling mainsail, 125% furling genoa, and staysail for flexible offshore sailing.

Accommodation centers on a full beam aft owner's berth with ensuite head, and a pullman berth forward with a second head at the bow. Interior joinery is well executed throughout. The galley and living spaces are laid out for extended cruising comfort.
