This 1994 Skipperliner 510 is a 53-foot houseboat built for year-round liveaboard comfort in cold climates. Twin Mercruiser engines of 380 horsepower give it a cruising speed of 7 knots and a maximum speed of 13 knots. The hull features heavy cabin insulation and was fitted with a gas-fired forced air furnace; a dual-zone LG ductless HVAC system was added later for additional climate control.
The accommodations sleep four comfortably, with space for six using a sofa sleeper. The galley holds updated appliances from 2017—dual refrigerators, microwave, and a twin-burner cooktop. The head is equipped with a Raritan Elegance electric head and Purasan treatment system. The flybridge seats twelve and is sheltered under a Bimini top installed in 2019.
The boat underwent a comprehensive interior refit in 2017 and has been maintained throughout. Recent work includes a new roof and bottom barrier coat in 2023, a full service of the alpha one drives in 2020, a new 25-gallon water heater in 2019, a replacement Carrier furnace in 2018, fresh anodes in 2021, new topside paint in 2020, and LG HVAC installation in 2022. All systems are reported operational.
