1995 Albin 28 Tournament Express

The 1995 Albin 28 Tournament Express is a 28-foot pilothouse cruiser built on a fiberglass hull with a 10-foot beam. Powered by a single 200-horsepower Perkins diesel engine, the boat combines seaworthiness with practical day-to-day handling. The design incorporates recessed cleats and integrated hardware along the sheer, reducing trip hazards. A flared bow and substantial beam provide buoyancy and stability when running through rough water and tidal conditions.

The pilothouse is fitted with a center-opening vent window and opening side windows, each with independently controlled wipers. The layout balances fishing functionality with family cruising comfort, offering both workable deck space and livable accommodations below.

Equipment includes a full suite of navigation and communication gear: VHF, GPS, compass, depth sounder, and log-speedometer, along with a CD player and radio. The cabin features air conditioning, heating, a refrigerator, marine head, electric and manual bilge pumps, hot water, and a battery charger. A bow thruster aids maneuvering, while deck amenities include an electric windlass, cockpit shower, and swimming ladder. Shore power inlet is installed.
