2005 Osprey Pilothouse

This 26-foot Osprey Pilothouse is a fiberglass-hulled fishing boat powered by dual 400-horsepower Yamaha outboards. It reaches a top speed of 50 knots and cruises comfortably at 30 knots. The boat features a custom-built pilothouse with extra headroom and an isinglass curtain system that opens the enclosed helm to the working deck—eliminating a traditional rear door and maintaining direct access to the fishing area and gear.

In 2021, the boat underwent comprehensive service work including stripped and repainted bottom paint to bare gel coat, hull gel coat repair and buffing, replacement of rear helm pump and associated components, and autopilot system servicing. The outboards were also serviced at the same time. In 2017, the exhaust housings were replaced with updated Yamaha units to address a known issue with the original housings.

The trailer received recent attention with brake inspection and bearing maintenance. The boat has been out of the water for the past four years and will benefit from cleaning, though the hull and core components remain in sound condition.
