1995 Beneteau Oceanis 400

The Beneteau Oceanis 400 is a proven cruising sailboat built around seaworthiness, ease of handling, and thoughtful design. This 40-foot example was constructed in the USA and features a three-cabin, two-head layout suited to extended cruising or family passage-making. The owner's cabin includes a pullman berth to starboard with an en-suite head forward, while the main salon opens to a large U-shaped settee and dinette alongside a linear galley designed to accommodate multiple crew members working comfortably together.

The cockpit benefits from an efficient layout with comfortable seating, a sturdy FRP binnacle, and a leafed table with integral storage. The helm seat folds down to allow clear access to the swim platform. Below deck, accommodations balance living space with practical cruising functionality typical of the Oceanis 400 design.

The boat recently underwent mechanical service in November 2025 including rebuilding of all fuel injectors, inspection and testing of glow plugs, and replacement of fuel filters. The bottom was cleaned and new zincs installed at the same time. The diesel Perkins 50 hp engine supports a cruising speed of seven knots. The yacht has been maintained by the same family for eighteen years and remains in good condition.
