1995 Bertram 50 Convertible

The 1995 Bertram 50 Convertible is a 50-foot fiberglass-hulled sportfisher built for serious fishing and extended cruising. Twin Detroit Diesel 12V71 engines rated at 1,800 horsepower deliver a top speed of 30 knots and a cruising speed of 18 knots. The boat carries a 13-foot Zodiac tender with a 40-horsepower outboard motor, expanding access to shallow waters and protected anchorages.

Below deck, the interior accommodates three cabins with two heads and a fully equipped galley and spacious salon. The layout balances comfort with functionality, offering genuine living space for extended time aboard. The 16.25-foot beam provides a stable platform and open feeling throughout.

The boat has benefited from extensive recent maintenance and upgrades. Full engine service was completed in June 2022 and again in 2024. Systems overhauled or replaced include the air conditioning (four units, 2023), steering ram (2023), water heater (2023), cutlass bearing (2023), and bottom paint (2024). Electronics were updated in 2022 along with new Strataglass on the bridge, interior flooring and woodwork, interior LED lighting, all switches, fresh water pumps, waste lines, and bait tank. A new fighting chair was installed in 2023, and all bonding wire was renewed that same year.
