The 1995 Carver 440 is a 44-foot fiberglass sedan with an aft cabin layout. Powered by twin Crusader 502 CID EFI engines producing 415 horsepower each, the yacht reaches 30 mph and cruises comfortably in the low 20s. The solid fiberglass hull has no wood core construction.
Accommodations include two private cabins, each with its own head and separate shower, plus hanging lockers in both. The main saloon features a dinette opposite the galley that seats six. Light maple cabinetry throughout contributes to the bright interior. A washer and dryer (full-size, not combination) and an ice maker are onboard.
Recent updates include new canvas with crystal-clear isinglass windows, flat-screen televisions, LED lighting throughout, and custom woven outdoor carpet on the bridge and aft deck. The Glendinning engine synchronization system controls both stations. A power VHF antenna with lift mechanism and dual helm controls complete the helm setup.
The machinery space is reported dry with no signs of leaks or moisture issues throughout the boat. Hours on the engines stand at 838.
