This 1995 Fountaine Pajot Athena 38 is a fiberglass catamaran built for shallow-water cruising and light-wind sailing. With a draft of 3.2 feet and beam of over 20 feet, she combines the stability and space of a cat with easy access to skinny anchorages. Her light displacement makes her responsive in winds between 10 and 30 knots, and she has been actively cruised throughout the Bahamas.
The dual 36-horsepower Yanmar diesel engines provide auxiliary power when needed. Recent work includes new Flexofold folding propellers, new fuel injectors, and a fresh bottom paint. The electronics, watermaker, Isotherm refrigeration, Dometic freezer, solar panels, and lithium battery banks are all operational.
The boat comes with a Zar Mini 10-foot aluminum tender powered by a 9.9-horsepower EFI Tohatsu outboard motor. All systems are reported ready for immediate use.
