This 1995 Hunter 26 is a fresh water sailing yacht built on a fiberglass hull. The boat features tiller steering and can be sailed single-handed, though the design accommodates a larger crew comfortably. Notable for its spacious main cabin and enclosed head, the boat also offers an open transom with a deep stainless steel ladder on the port side and aft double berth. The cabin headroom reaches 6'5" when the lift-top is raised. An 8 horsepower Nissan outboard provides auxiliary power, and the boat is equipped with newly installed Garmin instrumentation for wind speed and direction, depth, and knot readings.
The fiberglass exterior has been freshly buffed, and new port side cabin windows were installed in January 2025. The critically important centerboard lift line was replaced. New cushion covers have been made for the interior. Remaining work includes finishing the wiring connections for the Garmin instruments, applying new antifouling bottom paint, and replacing an engine cover lost during transport.
The Hunter 26 is offered without a trailer as the one pictured belongs to Rooke Sails' storage yard. A new or used trailer can be sourced separately to complete the package.
