1995 New England Boatworks custom

This 71-foot aluminum sailing yacht was designed by Ted Hood and built by New England Boatworks in 1995. She is laid out for comfortable cruising with ample deck space and a straightforward interior focused on practicality. The hull form delivers predictable, seaworthy performance suitable for extended offshore passages.

The yacht accommodates three cabins and three heads. A single Caterpillar diesel engine rated at 210 hp powers her to a cruising speed of 16 knots, with a maximum speed of 21 knots. Her 18-foot beam and clean deck design support short-handed operation.

Recent refits between 2018 and 2020, with additional work in 2024, renewed the sails, rigging, electronics, generator, and engine room systems. The yacht has been continuously maintained throughout her life and is mechanically and operationally ready for sea.
